All orders are posted within 24 hours of the order being received – subject to availability. Items may be collected in person from our office in Birr, with prior notice.
Please read the conditions below regarding postage.
We subsidise postage and we do not charge for packaging. Hereunder, the term P & P refers to postage and packaging.
P & P rates are as follows:
For orders costing less than €20, the P & P is €3 euro.
For orders costing more than €20, the P & P is €5 euro for each parcel weighing up to 20 kilos.
In the case of An Post returning an uncollected parcel to us, it is up to the customer to pay the full amount (€7 or more) for the second delivery.
Deliveries of items weighing one kilo or more are sent with a track and trace number. Any package that does not reach its destination within the normal timeframe may be checked online. Please ask us for the code number to find the package in the system.
When being delivered, track and trace packages must be handed to a person. Otherwise the postman will leave a card indicating where the package may be collected. Packages not collected within a specified time will be returned to us. Although we subsidise the initial delivery, the customer will have to pay the P & P for the second delivery.
It is the responsibility of the customer to check that the full order has arrived intact. No correspondence will be entered regarding missing CDs, for example, if there is a time-lapse between delivery and complaint.
Books purchased in error may be returned provided they have not been used, soiled or written on. Customers are liable for the return delivery charges unless the item was damaged. Return the item(s) within 14 days of purchase; send it to us by track and trace, in perfect condition and accompanied by proof of purchase, i.e. a receipt or invoice.
Accepting an order that has been posted means that the customer has read and agreed to our terms and conditions, especially those concerning invoiced orders.
Queries about any order may be made at 057-9125923.
